Understanding of Music Art
Art is the ability of humans to make things in relation to efforts to achieve a predetermined goal by a specific idea. While music is one branch of art that uses sound arranged in such a way as to produce songs, rhythms, and harmony whose purpose is to be captured by the human sense of hearing.
Elements of Music Art
A melody is a number of tones or sounds that are arranged in a separate series, which is responded to based on differences in low height or rise and fall. This melody consists of various kinds of elements such as duration, pitch, and tone. While duration is the time needed by a series of notes to finally produce a melody.
Notes produced from various musical instruments with different sound colors are referred to as tones. And the pitch is a matter that regulates a series of notes that use the alphabet as a symbol, namely from A to G. Pitch is often also referred to as the color of sound or briefly people call it timbre.
Rhythm can also be referred to as a rhythm, which is a change in length, low and loud, and a tone or sound. This rhythm will later determine the beat that is in the whole music.
If you want to know the rhythm in a music that you hear, you can do it by listening to a song continuously which can give birth to a rhythmic pattern. This pattern of rhythm then gives a rhythmic feeling to someone who listens to it.
Harmony is one element in music which is a part that involves repetitive tones or keys. In music, harmony will appear when there is a balance between the moment of emphasis and the moment of release. Harmony is composed of three main things, namely interval, key, and scale.
The interval between two tones. The key is a series of notes that function as a regulator of the harmonization of a melody at certain intervals. While the scale is a set of notes acting as a framework for a whole music. The scale is used for reference so that you can determine the notes that will be played on the music that has been formed as a whole.

As the name implies, the scales are likened to a ladder which each level contains tiered tones. Between one note and another, there is a certain distance. The magnitude of the distance is 1/2, 1, 1 1/2, to 2. This distance will then determine the possibility of variations in tone and type of scales.
If you voice a particular tone sequence, then the sequence starts from one of the tones and ends with the same tone with the tone on the first ladder but the altitude is 1 octave higher.
There are 3 types of scales, namely the Chromatic Tone, Pentatonic Tone and the last is the Diatonic Tone Ladder.
Tempo can be likened to the seed contained in a song. The faster a song is played, the greater it is value. The size that is usually used to determine the tempo in a song beats. Beat functions to count the number of beats in one minute.
The beat has a separate unit called MM or Metronome Malzel. MM is a tempo measuring device which is divided into three criteria, namely slow tempo, medium tempo, and fast. Tempo is divided into 8 types, namely as follows: Largo (very slow), Lento (slower), Adagio (slower), Andante (moderate), Moderato (moderately fast), Allegro (fast), Vivace (faster) and Presto (very fast).
Dynamic is used to describe how the hard and soft levels in playing music, loud and soft are needed so that music does not sound monotonous when played. The hard and soft state has its own terms with special marks in music games.
